Superbowl Props To Bet On for 2018

The 2018 Super Bowl matchup has finally been set and the New England Patriots are to take on the Philadelphia Eagles at the U.S. Bank Stadium in Minnesota.

Since it is the Super Bowl, there will be plenty of action on the prop bets, so we have gone through the prop bets to find the ones you should consider betting on.

Coin Toss

The coin toss is one of the most popular prop bets, and some people use it as an indicator of how well their betting day is going to go. Even though there is a 50/50 chance of the toss resulting in either heads or tails, there’s actually a trend.

Five of the last eight Super Bowl coin tosses have landed on heads, and the winner of the coin toss has gone on to win four of the last seven Super Bowls.

Also, the NFC team has won 17 of the last 19 coin tosses.

Going by the trend, the smart pick here will be to take heads for the coin toss.

First Team To Score

This is another great bet to take because of the teams involved. The Patriots usually defer if they win the coin toss, which will give the Eagles the first opportunity to score. However, Philadelphia’s opponents have scored before them in each of their two playoff games, which means the smart money should be on the Patriots to score first.

MVP

With Tom Brady winning the Super Bowl MVP award in four of their five Super Bowl victories, it makes sense to place a wager in Brady to win it again if the Patriots defeat the Eagles.

If you think the Eagles will win the Super Bowl, you should place a bet on Nick Foles to win the MVP because the quarterbacks are always the most likely to win the award. You can also place a bet on a defensive player like Chris Long, who has been a disruptive force during the playoffs.

There are more prop bets to take, and we will discuss some more of them next week.
